First trailer for HBO’s The Newsroom by Aaron Sorkin

There are many intersections between good writing and acting. When both elements are in full swing you can have a show that last in the minds of audiences forever. A great example is The West Wing. While it was on-air the show even had political influence. A lot of that power came from the mind of one man, Aaron Sorkin. Sorkin was able to make the backroom dealings of the politics actually interesting and down right entertaining. While playing in the arena of film with The Social Network Sorkin once again claimed excellent reviews from viewers. Now back into the world of television, Sorkin goes at another hot topic, cable news.

HBO has now released the first trailer for Sorkin’s latest project and it doesn’t seem to disappoint.

Agreed, very excited to see what Sorkin can do when he isn’t as restricted. Should be amazing.
