While trolling the internet I stumbled upon something that truly made me scratch my head in confusion. Some of you may be aware that there is a confoundedly large fan base for the new My Little Pony series. As it has been discussed in a past episode of the show they call themselves “Bronies”. Well a group of enterprising fans seem to have taken their love of the show a few steps further then normal. They’ve taken it upon themselves to create a full fledged fighting game. Ladies and gentlelmen I present to you MLP: Fighting is Magic..
Coming this summer to go along with the release of the movie, The Amazing Spider-Man. Here is yet another teaser trailer to give you some brief looks at the in game mechanics. The character design is the best I have seen of any of the games so far. By far the best movie tie-in game graphics wise. Looks soon for a full trailer as we get closer to the summer. Check out the video:
Funny new video shows a young girl taking on the infamous role of Darth Vader in Episode IV: A New Hope. I am looking forward to this game. This might get me to actually buy a Kinect. Still no game play video, but I am sure its coming soon.
I love fighting games. I’m not particularly good at them but I enjoy them nonetheless. On March 6th, Capcom is releasing Street Fighter X Tekken, a crossover fighting game that pits Capcom’s world warriors against Namco’s famous fighters. The game will be released for the Xbox 360, Windows, PS3, and Playstation Vita. PS3 and Vita players however will be getting a few exclusive characters.
Cole MacGrath from the inFAMOUS series and Toro and Kuro (two cartoon cats) have been known for some time. Capcom has now revealed two more exclusive characters: Pac Man (riding a Mokujin-like mech) and Mega Man. Mega Man is… an interesting addition. Mega Man has been noticably absent from the two Marvel vs. Capcom releases but he’s finally made his current gen fighting debut. Only this might not be the Mega Man you’re looking for…
This year the widely popular Mass Effect series gets its, reportedly, final installment. All the characters are put together again to battle the forces of intergalactic evil. Of course, Bioware once again brings the excellent battle system and graphics from its two predecessors and ups the ante just a little more. Newly released today, we get a look at the breakdowns of the special forces that will be available.
I don’t have too much experience with MMOs. There was one that I got into and played for about three years (and its not the one you think it is) and I had a good time with it. But the other one (the one you are thinking of) I just couldn’t get into for some reason. But when Star Wars: The Old Republic went live I couldn’t help but to try it.
A new Spider-Man game is on its way. This is supposed to be a tie-in to the upcoming, The Amazing Spider-Man movie. Events in the game are supposed to take place after the movie. You can see the new costume design that Andrew Garfield will wear. This image looks incredible. Check out the short teaser trailer as well. Next week a full trailer is suppose to hit the net. We will post it the second its available.
