Johnny Thunder and Dr. Charles Lightning and I had some really good times tricking Baron Von Barron into falling into the mummy’s tomb over and over again. I’m sure the same goes for many of you. So it should come as really no surprise that The Lego Movie, out this weekend, seemed so appealing to me.

Animated LEGO movie is hitting theaters in 2014

It looks like Warner Bros is taking the leap to make a fully animated LEGO movie. My childhood begins screaming for joy! According to a new press release it will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs). The screenplay was written by Dan  and Kevin Hageman. The movie will hit theaters February 28th, 2014. No information on what the story will be. However, stay tuned.

Lego Captain America is truly a Badass! In this brick film, Cap slaughters a shit-ton of people. The red play-doh is flying everywhere as he barrels he way through the Nazi troops. Body parts are literally taken to nubs. This film was produced by Forrest Fire Films. Take a look at their YouTube channel. They have some pretty funny stuff. Star Wars parodies and more.
