Studios fighting over Quicksilver! Really???!!!

Quicksilver floats between tier two and who gives a damn territory. The twin son (his sister Scarlet Witch aka Mrs. Deus Ex Machina) of the evil mutant Magneto, Quicksilver is what comic fans call a speedster. His basic power is he can run really fast.

Entertainment Weekly confirms Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver for The Avengers 2

EW has confirmed the long held rumor that Marvel mutants siblings, Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver, will be joining The Avengers 2 cast. Whether or not they will play villains at first or just join up as heroes remains unclear. The larger issue here is the addition of mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While not being able to reference their father Magneto, due to contract issues with Fox Studios, this would leave them as the only mutants in the MCU; interesting. The idea of adding these two characters to the roster is fancisnating, and just the type of craziness Joss Whedon is known for.
