The Wolverine gets a 2nd Trailer

The Wolverine gets a 2nd Trailer

Director James Mangold has released the second trailer for his upcoming comic book movie, The Wolverine. While I thought the first trailer was OK, this one strikes a more serious tone and feels less gimmicky than the first. Gone are the awful extended train fighting sequences and very odd trailer ending. We get a slightly more flushed out Wolverine here. I certainly enjoyed the fast paced fight Logan has with a traditional samurai, and later a great look at the Silver Samurai. The ninja fight seemed to be the biggest reveal here and it didn’t disappoint. I think The Wolverine will be a sleeper hit much like The Amazing Spider-Man of last year. Check out the latest trailer below, and let us know what you think.

The latest and greatest trailer for the much anticipated Iron Man 3 has finally hit the internet, here. The overall nerd consensus is that it looks really great and everyone is pretty excited for May 3rd. Here are a few things that we want to bring to your attention.

IronMan 3 gets an official trailer

IronMan 3 gets an official trailer

Well the first glimpse at what the Marvel Cinematic Universe looks like after the events of The Avengers is finally here with IronMan 3. Directed by Shane Black, we get a very dark look at the world of Tony Stark. Shaken to the core by what happened in The Avengers, Stark will have to contend with his greatest rival, The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley).

First Trailer for The Lone Ranger

First Trailer for The Lone Ranger

As a kid, I was a huge fan of the Lone Ranger. The Legend of the Lone Ranger was one of my favorite films. In fact, my parents even went so far as to try and make it more real for me. Normally, the tooth fairy is the one who leaves things under your pillow. However, when I was a kid I also got a visit from the Lone Ranger.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master gets a full trailer

Paul Thomas Andersons The Master gets a full trailer

Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest film, The Master, has been shown through two fantastic, yet bizarrely cut non-trailers. Both previous trailers gave us a remote sense of the world Anderson was building. They were intriguing and definitely made me want to know more about where he was going. Here we get to see a much more traditional trailer that lays out the story for the people who don’t follow this stuff like we do! Check out the trailer below:

Marvel announces Deadpool game.

Marvel announces Deadpool game.

Friday on our way to the San Diego Convention Center we notice a giant ad for The Amazing Spider-Man video game. Pretty cool but nothing we haven’t seen before. Today, that same advertisement was spray painted with Deadpool’s logo over it. This is some pretty cool marketing for the newly announced Deadpool game.

The Dark Knight Rises trailer takes us through the trilogy in style

The Dark Knight Rises trailer takes us through the trilogy in style

There have been many trailers for The Dark Knight Rises and the last full length trailer was something quite spectacular in my opinion. However, it might have just been outgunned in this latest iteration. This time around we are treated to clips from all three movies, which helps to build the suspense and tension that is coming like a freight train on July 20th.

Django Unchained gets its first trailer!

Django Unchained gets its first trailer!

Here is the first trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. Frankly, this is easily one of the most anticipated films of the year. In my humble opinion, Tarantino has not made a bad film yet, and it looks like he has no plans to break that mold with Django. Jamie Foxx is an interesting choice for the lead and Leonardo DiCaprio for the villain is inspiring. It seems he is really enjoying being the heel this go around. Rounding out the cast is Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, and Kerry Washington. I really enjoy the fact that after Tarantino has tackled the revenge stories of women and Jews that now black folks get their turn at bat. Definitely looking forward to this. Check out the trailer below. Django Unchained hits theaters on Christmas Day.

Quick Hit: New Expendables 2 trailer!!!

Quick Hit: New Expendables 2 trailer!!!

Here we go again. Another Expendables 2 trailer just hit. More guns, more muscles, and more ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH explosions! The last trailer left me with a big ole case of the mehs, but lets see if they can really deliver with this one. I’m not sure if action movies can live up to the insanity that is The Avengers, but they damn sure are going to try! Check out the trailer below.
